Aaron Swartz sadly passed away on January 11th 2013 and since this day their has been a hole in the world of online activism and the worldwide programming community. Known for his political activism and his programming abilities Swartz made a name for himself which was talked about in the highest ranks of the United States government.

Apple today released its iOS 6.1.2 update to all iDevices. The update is said to fix a bug which was causing many of Apple’s devices to have an issue with battery drainage which was caused by the Exchange calendar bug which caused an increase in network activity.

Apple were allowing this since the iPhone 3GS and was since then by default a mandatory feature for customers. This Sunday a group of iOS hackers named Evad3rs will be releasing the Jailbreak for the recently released iOS 6.1 update. 250,000 Twitter users would have received a email from Twitter over the past days. Twitter claims that 250,000 Twitter users accounts may be at risk of a compromised attack which took place last week. Email have been sent out to users whose accounts may have been put at risk from this attack.
